BrickDex combines a playful, instantly recognizable premise with a carefully structured routine that becomes increasingly impossible as it unfolds. This is not a simple “peek and reveal” effect - it’s a fully developed powerhouse routine where every action feels natural and motivated.
Phase 1.
Your participant visits a website on their own phone to explore a collection of the most popular LEGO® sets from across the years. There’s no funny business - they don’t scan a QR code, secretly tap an NFC tag, use an App Clip and nothing is installed on their phone. They simply type the website (no User IDs) into their browser. With nearly 300 different sets to explore, they freely choose any year and any set. They are presented with a photo of the set, a brief description and other detailed information about their selection. They can even look through other sets to confirm just how vastly different they all are. Without ever needing to peek at any information, you immediately begin revealing precise details unique to their selection with 100% accuracy before ultimately divining the exact object they’re thinking of. It's a mind boggling moment, but you're only just getting started as you then offer to repeat the experiment under even more impossible conditions.
Phase 2.
This time, they select a completely different LEGO® set from another year. Once again, they can freely browse the site and confirm that the sets are genuinely all different. They never utter a single word. Without ever peeking at any screen, you instantly reveal precise information including the exact number of pieces in the set, identify its three most prominent colors and uncover additional details, For the final visual climax you open the Notes app on your phone and doodle the very object they are looking at! It’s a truly stunning display of mind reading that feels as close to the real thing as you can get.
Invisible Methodology.
Your participant can browse the website to their heart’s content and never find anything suspicious. You are not required to do anything covertly on your phone - you can comfortably perform this completely surrounded. Each phase uses different, layered methods that become more devious as the routine progresses, and cleverly cancel out the methods from the preceding phase. There’s even new methodology working under the hood and discovering these diabolical secrets is as satisfying as the effect itself.
Easy & Customizable.
Unlike many magic apps, BrickDex has a very easy learning curve with virtually no setup required. There are no User IDs to enter and no traditional phone pairing. Once the app is installed, you can simply tap Perform and you’re ready to go right away. The app is also highly customizable, allowing you to tailor the app and handling to suit your preferences. For even more convenient and impossible handlings, BrickDex includes a companion Apple Watch app which allows you to perform without ever touching your phone - it can even be in another room!

This is an iOS App that is compatible on devices that run iOS 18 or later. You will instantly receive a confirmation email that contains a download link to a PDF with access to download the App. Within 24 hours (usually much quicker) you will get a second email with a unique License Key to activate the App.
