Supported Languages
TUTORIAL: Enable YouTube’s captions and select your language to view translated subtitles in your language. (Please note that you may need to watch the tutorial on a computer to use the translated subtitles feature).
ROUTINES: All of the routines support any language. For the Ultimate Freedom routine, the Notes input works with ANY language, the Writing input currently works with any language that uses the Modern English Alphabet and lastly the Impression input works with the supported languages in the impression device's App.

Important Tips

Always close the reveal app (Spotify, IMDB, etc.) before performing the effect. If you don't, and leave the app on the page from the last reveal, when you go to scan for Coldplay, for example, they may see the page for Drake from your last performance briefly before it switches. This applies to all the routines. Closing the app beforehand prevents this.

You should NEVER be navigating through the DEQODE menus in performance - the input screen should be loaded and waiting with the phone facedown or in your pocket BEFORE you begin the routine.

The Camera performance mode can be easier to scan a QR code compared to the Scanner performance mode. This is because the Camera view allows you to zoom in on the code and tap on it to adjust the focus. The Scanner view does not offer the ability to zoom in, but does allow tap to focus. If you ever have trouble with the Scanner mode, you can switch over to Camera mode.

Certain iPhones without Dynamic Island have an issue where when you go to flick up the "Shortcut bar" near the top of the screen with the Scanner behind it, it also closes the scanner, preventing you from doing the scan. If this is happening on your phone, the solution is simple. Open the edit view of the DEQODE Shortcut, now tap Search Actions and type in "wait", then drag the Wait action to the very start of the Shortcut and set it to 2 seconds (it should look like this). Now when you launch DEQODE from the app icon on your Home Screen, the Shortcut bar will appear at the top of the screen, flick it up, and it will not appear once the Scanner pops up.

The only other routine where this can present an issue is the Multi QR routine as that method is different than all of the other routines on DEQODE and had required us to launch Scanners from the home screen, so here is an alternate method to achieve the same routine.
You will need to download these two Shortcuts:
To perform, run “Multi QR” from the Shortcuts app, then go to the Home Screen. When you are ready to scan the first QR/barcode, tilt the phone towards you and press volume up (miscalling it opening the scanner) - this will bring up the scanner (with no "Shortcut Bar") and you can scan the first QR code. Now go back to the Home Screen. When you are ready to scan the second QR/barcode, tilt the phone towards you again and press volume up again to bring up the scanner and scan the second code. Repeat this until the fifth scan, which will be your force (e.g. Moana in our demo from the tutorial). You can edit all the links in the shortcut very easily).
Troubleshooting
At the moment Spotify's URLs are not automatically opening in the Spotify app - this appears to be a (hopefully temporary) issue on Spotify's end. This ONLY affects Camera Mode (Scanner Mode works fine). If you wish to use Camera Mode, enable the Automation for Safari (NOT Spotify) and it will work.
If a Shortcut is not loading or functioning correctly, force restart your phone (click here to see how to do this).
If you are having an issue scanning the Jack of Diamonds QR code with the standard Camera or the Scanner, I suggest watching the Alternate Scanner section of the main tutorial video and use this app (its amazing!), and run that in "Camera Mode" with the same automation (basically treat it like Camera mode, but open the QR Bot app instead of the Camera to do your scans. Otherwise to improve the scan on the standard native camera, tap the "3" zoom (or whatever the higher number your phone has for zoom), then hold the jack at this angle and it will scan easier.
If the "Camera" version is not working, make sure you have the correct Automation turned on and that all the other Automations are deactivated. If "Scanner" version is not working, make sure ALL Automations are disabled. If you are still having issues - you can try deleting and re-installing the Shortcut. Alternatively, you can tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the Shortcut in the Shortcuts App to open the Edit view, now tap the circled i button in the bottom navigation bar, then tap the Privacy tab then tap Reset Privacy - this will force the Authorizations to appear again and should clear up the issue.

If you are trying to install one of the Shortcuts and it says "Shortcut not found", try it again - the links are working, iCloud just does this from time to time.
If you have a different browser than Safari set as your default browser, and plan to use Camera mode, then set the Automation for Safari to that browser instead. For example, if your camera defaults to opening Chrome as the browser when scanning, set the automation to "When Chrome is Opened, run URL Redirect" instead of Safari.
If when using Ultimate Freedom, you press Volume Up and nothing happens, you may have the buttons set to control your ringtone and not media volume. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and make sure that “Change with Buttons” is set to OFF.

Printing QR Codes & Barcodes
In certain routines, such as Barcode, Colors & ACAAN you will have to print your own Barcode or QR code. Below are ones you can use that will be important if using the Camera performance mode as it shows the URL preview and redirects the website. Save the images, resize (if needed) and print.
